Crochet Hooded Baby Blanket - Free Pattern

Hooded Baby Blanket

After making the main blanket you make the hood. You make the hood and attach it to the blanket at the same time. At the end of each row you sl st the hood to the blanket. This means no sewing later! Lay the hood flat on the blanket when making the attaching slip stitches to ensure that the hood is laying neat and flat.

    1. To make the blanket larger, repeat rows 1 and 2 of the blanket instructions until the blanket is the required size. To make the hood larger, follow the hood instructions to row 5, and then repeat rows 4 and 5 until the hood is the size required.

  7. My blanket is longer than 28" when counting to 108. I'll reply when I count/measure for 28". It can very well be the yarn I'm using; baby blanket yarn by Bernat I believe.

    1. It's probably because you're using a thicker yarn (I used #4) or a larger hook, or you crochet looser bigger stitches than I do. I crochet quite tightly.
